I believe the first one may be 'Breath of Life' with Shiela Chandra. Maybe it was followed by 'The Hornburg', but I could be wrong. I have only seen TTT once, but I have the soundtrack and it seems right. Sorry if I'm wrong. BTW: the dwarf is Gimli!

It could be either 'Breath of Life' featuring Sheila Chandra, or 'The Hornburg' that you are thinking of. It may be both b/c they blend together. I've only seen TTT once, so I may be WAY off. Sorry if I am, but it's the best I can come up with. BTW: The Dwarf is Gimli!

The part you are talking about is featured in Forth Eorlingas, track 16 on the soundtrack. The part where the boy soprano (the female voice you mention ) is on a sustained note and there's this climatic point is at the end of that track. and the climatic point is where gandalf the white's new theme is stated and where the Rohan Riders + Gandalf collide with the army of Uruk-hai.I am not sure of the lyrics however. I don't think anyone knows what they are yet.

Ok, first of all the dwarf guy's name is Gimli. In this letter I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, it's just I know everything about LOTR and I forget other people don't. Anyways--I have the Two Towers soundtrack and there are three possibilities: #12 Helm's Deep, #15 The Hornburg, or #16 Forth Eorlingas. I'm sorry I can't give you a more precise answer but, I've only seen the movie once.;)
