Yes, Tolkien was Christian, and no, the Lord of the Rings is not anti-Christian, but TOLKIEN SAID SO HIMSELF THAT THERE IS NO SYMBOLISM IN LOTR. You can compare events in the story to Religion (like casting out demons) but he did not write the story with religion in mind. Besides, weren't they pagans or something like that anyway? All the same, GREAT score. Very dark- it fit the story perfectly, wouldn't you agree? Oh, and if you were wondering, yes, I am a practicing Christian, but I'm still only taking LOTR at face value.
