No it's not. I really want to know what the piece is too.... it's awesome!!!! I'm guessing it's from another soundtrack owned by New Line Cinema but I don't have any other clues. Anyone??

ok ok... it's called "Cleaning Apartment" and I'm sure of it... I've been obsessed with that song for months and finally one day my friend played if off his burnt CD. I had him play 3 different versions of it... but none of them were the right remix from the trailer... maybe it's called something else for LOTR, but I've downloaded one copy and it's definitly it.

> It is definately a remixed version of Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet. Like someone else said, the original version is from the Requiem For A Dream score.

I have found it in a few forms.. on Kazaa, search for REQUIEM OVERTURE.. It may come up as mozart even though it isnt.. It is indeed Requiem for a dream, i believe its song name on the sound track is Cleaning appartment. or something..
search Requiem Overture.. you should find it..

The name of the song is Lux aeterna, from composer Clint Mansell. It's from the movie Requiem For a Dream.
The version of that song that's used on the trailer can be downloaded with the name Requiem's Overture

You can find the exact requiem music in the TTT trailer here:

There is also the rotk gondor theme (somewhat) I wasnt able to find it
I did those two mp3s, I would appreciate if anyone respected the coyprights
I didnt manage to find gothic power to be able to remix it and make it like the fotr trailer
