Re: Praise the LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, not the Lord of the Rings! Tolkein took the sagas written by germanic peoples about their gods, and did the christian thing and turned it into his own story for entertainment purposes. It reflects the views of the germanic religion far more then christianity in every way. Although the movies are good, the books are far better.
