Okay, just looking at the title of the post alone, "Praise the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not LotR." I think you should have changed it to fit your message more, cuz with the way it is, it sounds like your one of those maniacs who thinks LOTR is sac-religious or something. And who says anyone "prasies" LOTR? It's a great movie, that doesn't mean we worship it!

Okay, and while we're on the topic (as the message title hints), what is up with the Passion of the Christ? I am sooo mad that it is almost going to beat out LOTR in box office history. If it gets gets nominated for a lot of oscars or wins any...I'll just freak. LOTR..is beautiful, there is no ohter word to describe it. Why would you want to go sit through a movie just to watch a guy die very graphically? Before you all start yelling at me, let me take the time to point out that I am not a practing Catholic (anymore) and disagree with Christian teaching in so many ways... I more into Wicca than anything (which is NOT a cult, so not you even THINK about saying it is!)

Where was I? Oh, just as PS to the comment "LOTR is just a book." Yeah, well, the bible is just a book now too, isn't it. But, if you read either of them right way, you can get a lot out of them. Okay, I've ranted long enough.
