The most emotional musical moment for me was when Gandalf says goodbye to the hobbits in the harbour. That scene is the only place I cry in the movie. It is a really sad scene.
The entering of Gandalf and Pippin to Minas Tirith was incredible with the main theme. I also didn't expect that.
