star trek fan movie looking for composer   Saturday, July 3, 2004 (5:20 a.m.)

Hi, as you all know Star Trek movies haven't too satisfying lately... So what else is there to do for Trekkies to make their own movies?

This is exactly what I'm trying to do... It's not that hard with a proper budget and some motivation. However, the score is a problem... It seems so obvious to use music from other (Star Trek) movies, but then again... every movie deserves a score of his own!

At the moment I'm looking for musicians (professional/amateur) who think they're up to the challenge of composing a sample track, a main theme for the movie.

All Trekkies with musical talents (and the proper software) please help the future of Star Trek movies! Let us show to Paramount that good Star Trek movies still can be produced!

When you're interrested, let me know, give me your e-mail or msn adress. I will give you some information on the story, etc.

Thanks already

I'm really late on this... sorry, but if you still need someone, I'm interested, my email is as seen above! I could use older themes, write new ones whatever, I'm usually big and brassy, but I'm flexible too (don't let the fact that I'm only 15 discourage you, I've been told that my adventure/action music dwarfs many composers).
