i agree with the review...many sequels tend to have less surprising scores. there are some great things i heard in Mulan II like the oriental instruments and melodies. but when i compare it to Jerry Goldsmith's score, it is a huge difference. i liked the fact that McNeely used such a powerful instrument-the french horn, as what Goldsmith did. however, the tune wasn't very pleasant. i give this score *** stars.
