Grand Themes, softer themes. |

Ok so the tender moments of the score never break into a grand theme like in Tomorrow Never Dies in The Musketeer. However there is a definite theme in those character building tracks. In D'artagnan & Francesca the theme is similar to The last Goodbye in TND but is much quieter and so not as easily noticed. This tender theme appears again in Down by the River. Here it gets a grander rendition with a cresendo of the theme at the end with much of the orchestra involved.
The themes in the musketeer are there. They are just not always that clear. Once you have noticed them you realise that this score is great David Arnold Music.
