I too was thinking of doing this at my school. I have always loved this show and have thought it would make a great stage setting if approached correctly. Perfect for late Fall, halfway between the two holidays. Email me at I'd like to talk with you a bit about it.

As far as getting rights, it's not so much Elfman I worry about as Disney. Elfman would probably get a kick out of it. Disney has historically not been so forthcoming with such permission. God forbid anybody else get a piece of the damn pie.
