We've had Bond movies without the Bond Theme, Godzilla movies without the Godzilla March, and Star Trek without the Star Trek Theme ... and neither of them did very well, to say the least.
Based on Hooper's Order Of The Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince will be lifeless enough, even with Hedwig's Theme.
