Actually, this topic has been brought up before. Although some music sounds similar, John Debney went on his own on this one, and created a much more emotional score than Gabriel. Gabriel's score was to a much different movie than Debney's score. I hate to disagree, but I do not feel that the LAst Temptation of Christ was a "heretic" film. I just think that those who do not understand the story or the meaning behind it are too quick to judge. Even in the beginning of the film there is a statement that says that the movie is not based on the Gospel account of Jesus' life.
