Good news:

Hans Zimmer is co-scoring Harrison Ford's upcoming submarine thriller, K-19: THE WIDOWMAKER (with MediaVenture alum Klaus Badelt) and Dreamwork's SPIRIT.

John Powell scored the unusually absent EYE SEE YOU/DETOX (starring Stallone), and will score the upcoming Matt Damon spy movie THE BOURNE IDENTITY (originally slated to be scored by Carter Burwell).

As for Mancina's score to TRAINING DAY, it's not that great. It's similar to his ASSASSINS, in that it lacks depth and any sort of theme. It works well in the movie though, because a typical MV score wouldn't fit. It's worth getting the 2CD bootleg though.
