Re: John Williams is a petty theif I love Williams' music. Memoirs of a Geisha blew me away more than anything else. But I'm sitting here listening to Debussy "Nocturnes for Orchestra" and am hearing again that Williams really does take from other composers. Certainly the most blatant is Rite of Spring.
