This really has nothing to do with Star Wars, but you can't post any comments on either Indiana Jones page. Does anyone have the Raiders soundtrack? Or Temple of Doom? How did you get it? I have Last Crusade and The Indiana Jones Trilogy.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've got the Last Crusade soundtrack, and I've seen the Temple of Doom at the local Borders, but it was too expensive ($30+) so I wouldn't waste my money on it. Even for John Williams, I won't pay $30. As far as the Raiders soundtrack goes, I have also been looking for it for a year. If you go in the stores, they just don't have it. Online, it's either out of stock, or backordered (in which case you order it, they fail to find it, and cancel your order) so don't go looking for that one either... yet. As you probably know, they are making a fourth Indiana Jones movie, and the trilogy is coming out on DVD in a few short weeks. With all the Indiana Jones hype, I'm sure the demand for the soundtrack will put it back on the shelves. Anyway, you could always try http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=1001333&style=music&frm=lk_fmsr I haven't had the opportunity to order from here yet (I have my reasons) but I've been meaning to. If you have any luck let me know.

I have the Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack. It's awesome but it took me forever to get it. I had to but it used at Half.com for fourty bucks (it's worth it). I was a little uneasy about bying a CD used but it plays fine and its in near mint condition. If you want it in mint condition you'll have to pay upwards near 100 bucks.
The only soundtrack of the Indiana Jones series I don't have is Temple of Doom (which I would love to have). If I were you I wouldn't waist my time with The Last Crusade soundtrack. It's nothing to get excited about.
Basically, if you want Raiders of the Lost Ark, you're gonna have to by it used. I looked everywhere. They just don't sell it new anymore.
The worst thing is that the people you are willing to sell theirs know that you can't get it anywhere else so they hike up their prices.
GOOD LUCK !!!

I've got the Last Crusade soundtrack, and I love it. The motorcycles and tanks are awesome in the soundtrack. When it comes to Temple of Doom (I don't have that one because it costs over $30) the only song I can imagine being any good is the one that they repeat in the end credits. The rest just seemed like it was reusing Raider's themes. That is something that the Last Crusade didn't do a whole lot. Only 2 songs (other than the credits) use a hint of the Raider's march. I think that is one of the reasons why it is Spielberg's favorite of the three Raider's scores.

You may be right. I don't have the full version of The Last Crusade but I did like the music for the tank. I don't have the Temple of Doom but I think that theme that he repeats in the end credits would be enough to make it a good soundtrack in my book.
