I totally agree with you. I have looked at other message boards and it seems like anyone who has bad opinion about Gerard Butler is berated for their opinion. The simple fact is that he does not have the kind of voice to bring this role to life. I would like to see him sing compared to any other trained Broadway singer and see who comes out ahead. Good looks can only get you so far. I think that if ALW and JS wanted to catch a teenage audience thay suceeded, but what about those of us who can actually hear when something is not sung correctly. Thank you for your courage!!
