Get over it! Personally, I think Gerard, Emmy, and Patrick were wonderful and I'm a music teacher's daughter, so I should know! How many 17 year olds do you know that can sing as good as Emmy Rossum? The original Raoul had no emotion and he sounded ancient! Patrick Wilson actually put emotion into the role. Finally, Gerard Butler doesn't have the training of Michael Crawford, but he still is wonderful. He rips your heart out during that movie so in my opinion, he's one hell of an actor!
