Okay okay, but when you get down to it... Butler sucks. You cannot enjoy a TERRIBLE performance of a GREAT show. The end of the first act "you will curse the day you did not do all that the phantom asked of you" is amazing in the original cast recording. The French Horns mix PERFECTLY with Crawford's voice. In this version, (its one of the filmtracks audio clips) its DISGUSTING. The Phantom is NOT a rock star! Butler butchers the second best moment, only outdone by the finale "Its over now, the music of the night!" and I'll bet Butler ruins that too (I've not heard that part yet). I can see what you mean, but I for one cannot not enjoy a movie that has subpar vocals... thats why I didn't see it, right after I heard bits and pieces of it, I refused to waste money on it... I'll wait until I can get it for free from blockbuster... approprietly bash it, and be done.

Thank you, and Good day to you
