I beg your pardon darling, I happen to be a 'young woman' too, as well as a rather irate phan. The fact that Webber selected the Phantom with looks as the priority instead of vocals shows his commitment to the movie. So yes, we all love the music, which is why we are tortured when this, version, is the one that is going to be preserved through time.

The loss of a better execution of the show is it's downfall. Attracting the teen market isn't going to hold up for long. That's the difference between trends and true value.
