I'll probably always listen to the original cast recording and probably never the movie's recording. But if you havn't seen the movie...see it. It may change your views...maybe not. But the sound quality (Emmy being underpowered) does not exist in the movie and I found it much more emotional than seeing it live. Perhaps that's because you can actually see the characters upclose, the expression and all the tears. I'm still not happy with the choice of Butler as the phantom but he isn't god awful. People need to just stop comparing him to Michael Crawford, no one can match him so please stop.

I hope Emmy wins the Golden Globe for best actress, I feel she truely does deserve it. And who should the nomination for best musical or comedy go to? Well...the Incredibles was just as the title states, and Eternal Sunshine was just amazing. It will be interesting to see where that award goes.
