It's all a matter of opinion.
I've seen many Phantoms on stage. The "best" to me would be Peter Karrie, Franc D' Ambrosio, Ethan Freeman, Ciaran Sheehan, Davis Gaines in some respects, Ron Bohmer until his Final Lair... many great Phantoms out there.
Gerard Butler just ain't one of them.
