I have to agree with you about Colm Wilkinson. His voice is on another level like I've never seen. I was lucky enough to see him in Les Miserables twice. Never saw anyone even come close to that performance. Wilkinson was actually ALW first choice for the Phantom but he already had committed to Les Mis. I'm also not Canadian and I saw Crawford as the Phantom. There is a cast album of the Canadian company with Wilkinson and it's my favorite.
