"Pirates of the Carribean" is one of my all-time favorite movies. I think Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow is BRILLIANCE. No one could do it better. Geoffery Rush was also amazing as captain Barbossa.
I LOVE the music from this film, and when I got the soundtrack, expected it to be either two CDs, or one very LONG one. What did I find? Only forty-three minutes of the ONE HUNDRED and forty-three minute film.
I personally do NOT come even remotely close to even BEGINNING to imagine having ANY idea whatsoever WHY more of this incredible soundtrack was not released.
I don't understand why, what with the advent of 80 minute CDs -- not even ONE of which could contain close to HALF of the music actually USED in the film -- the entire score would not be released.
I most definitely feel cheated.
As for the people who disagree with my opinion of the music, it's only an OPINION. There are no "absolutes" concerning people's tastes in music.
Any negative comments on my taste I cannot take seriously, and will be ignored.
