I dont know what you are talking about. Vangelis didnt revolutionized electronic music. Shaeffer? Stochausen? Varèse? These are the men who revolutionized electronic music and put it on the musical map in the 50´s. Vangelis gave it a pop flavour in the 70´s if anything.
