I dont Know but it sure feels special to have 2 copies out of 3000.

There is always a need for more than 3,000 copies. Ghostbusters? Piranha? The Burbs? The Fury? Runaway? All of these and more sold out very quickly. The reason they are mostly limited to 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 is usually becuase of the huge musicians unions fees that prevent so many soundtracks from being released. Alan Silvestri said the same thing that Back To The Future will only ever get a release if it's limited to 3,000 copies, as there is no money in these soundtracks. When the original album was overlooked fans asked for a release of the score. Before they made a decision they released the sequel score - and it flopped. Universal didn't release the third score, it wass put out by Varese Sarabande and it was a successful CD, mainly down to the fact that ZZ Top were featured on it. So there you have it, unless it's got something in the way of pop bands included on it it probably won't sell enough copies. Even if it sells 40,000 copies and they had put it out ofiicially (like the Predator bootleg did) then it would have failed to recoup it's costs. So be thankful for the limited editions as it's more than likely that that is all you will ever get. Which is a shame.
