Comments about the soundtrack for The Princess Bride (Mark Knopfler)
Hmm...I have a feeling he doesn't "dig" the movie.

Hmm...I have a feeling he doesn't "dig" the movie.   Monday, November 8, 2004 (8:23 p.m.)

I really didn't agree with the review, which repeatedly called the Princess Bride Movie "corny," with parents of supposedly silly teenagers searching for more "intelligent" media. I don't mind terribly if the reviewer has a problem with this soundtrack; I can be wary of mock-instrumental synthesized music. However, I completely disagree that this movie is nothing but corny and stupid. The scriptwriting and humor in this film are brilliant! And if anyone has read the Morgenstern original as I have, it caused me to gain a greater appreciation for the film. Can it be somewhat campy at times? Yes. But is the movie unintelligent? Definitely not.
