I have had some skipping on track 17 too. But not on all CD players. My handheld players are fine, as with soul-purpose-CD players. DVD players and Audio systems (CD+Tape+Radio+etc...) sometimes go a little wierd. And i have very nice DVD players, so I dont know whats going on either.
