Now I am a HUGE Jerry Goldsmith fan and I can say without a doubt that RAMBO III is my favorite score of his yeah it might not be as original as First Blood or as fast paced as Rambo: First Blood Part 2, but it is so much more emotional, I can't listen to "Another Time" without crying, he totally captured the loneliness and heartbreak of Rambo in that one piece, to me its the most beautiful cue he ever composed (although the Finale of First Knight comes close). His Afghanistan theme is also breathtakingly beautiful and I love how he develops the themes over the whole score. I just wish it was for a better film, but if there was one thing about Jerry Goldsmith's career it was scoring films that were way beneath his talents and somehow making them better with his music.
