I have listened to this score over and over and it is nothing special. Not to say that i really enjoyed it but it's nothing brilliant either. It has some really good themes but i have to say...still lacks the intensity of some of the original Star Wars scores. Out of the latest of the Star Wars scores I have been wiaiting for another track that has as much guts as Episode 6's Return Of The Jedi track! This by far the most enjoyable action muic Williams has ever written and i was very dissapointed to hear some pretty standard action scoring for Episode 3. I love the way Williams' writes his dramattic cues but when it comes to downright pumping action cues...he comes very short. I also think this score could have been darker but it has still some very evil tones to it

Overall this score is just another Williams' score to add to my collection and Williams' hasn't created anything new...except for some new themes...but it sounds exactly like any other Williams score...not to say thats a bad thing but there's nothing too fantastic here. If you are after a wiked action score from a Star Wars movie...just listen to Return of The Jedi...if you are after some great dramattic scoring from a Star Wars film, listen to Empire Strikes Back...and if you are after some cool action cues, dark motifs and some dramattic elements then i'd have to say listen to this score.

Everyone should own this score though and Williams' proves again that he is a master at his craft...I've always wanted to hear Williams' and Zimmer do a score together...Imagine the Star Wars action sequences with the balls of Zimmer's writing... WOW! I'm aloud to dream hehehe All the best to all you soundtrack fans and some great scores to come this year. Kingdom Of Heaven hopefully will be a great listen! Peace to all!
