Well, I watched the movie for the thrird time yesterday. And in my mind, it still holds up as a good movie. But I tell ya, What I'm really starting to like is the score! It just fits the film like a glove. I really liked that the editing was better in RotS then the other two. And that there wasn't to much tracking from the other films. besides the part when Anakin walks into the Jedi Temple, That kinda pissed me off. Oh yeah, was it just me, but some of the tracked Arena music from AotC in some parts of RotS, never even made the final cut of AotC, and made its first film apperance in RotS! I think thats kinda funny in a really stupid way.
But after seeing the film again, I really wish I had the full score! Its kinda weired, but for first time, the editing on the Cd is worse then the film. Like for example, the Cue A Home for the Twins, has a whole lot more to it then the Cd has. And thats just one example! the other would be the part between the Birth of the Twins and Padame's death. when the helment for the first time fits on to Anakin's head, and Vader's theme plays, it gave's me chills everytime I hear in the theater! Other cues that would be great to have, would be the reat of the space battle! Or the part when Obi-wan leaves for Utapau and there's a really cool version of the Force Theme. I also think the Yoda's Farewell cue is awesome! And there's also a really cool part of Battle of the Heroes thats unreleased, when obi-wan and anakin are fighting on that small bridge conecting the main complex with the towers that reach over the lava river. And last of all, I really like Padme's Funeral, its just beautful. I love how it blends the funeral music with hints of Vaders theme.
