Well, I really love John Williams Scores! The Star Wars scores in particular. I haven't heard ROTS yet, but I have read almost every opinion about it. It seems that a few ( a lot ) of the expected old themes don't appear in this score. ( Death STar motif, Emperor's theme very briefly etc... ) Perhaps Williams deliberatly ignored this themes because that could make him loose a oscarnomination or even a win! ( remember Shore's Two Towers??? ) We must not forget, it's been since 1991 ( Schindler's List )!!!!!! that he has won anohter golden statue. On the other hand; I think Williams want this to sound as a new score instead of a re-arrangement of an old one! He's to old to do that! Perhaps this could be his last work and probably therefore he writes all the things that he want's to write instead of writing things we ( filmmusic nerds :-p ) expect. Sheers and enjoy good filmmusic!

Grtz, Jojo
