That scene is a callback to the scene in TESB when Luke was unable to lift the X-Wing out of the swamp. In TESB, that same triumphant music played when Yoda was able to lift it. Now that Luke is able to lift the X-Wing, he gets the same musical treatment. It's more of an emotional callback to a *moment* that fans will remember, rather than a specific leitmotivic character connection.
