Hello Scoresters,

I have avoided discussion of politics out of respect for our multiplicity of perspectives. Indeed, as a businessman based first in Nigeria and presently in Norway, I struggle to justify why my opinion on American politics should be held in any value. But having witnessed the opinions expressed here recently from first time posters, I believe you deserve to hear from an international troll you know and trust.

Recently I was contacted by Rudy Giuliani, who seemed to have purchased SmugleyPR's DEMS IN DIS-ARRANGEMENT album (link to christmas catalog) in the hopes that there would be more dirt on Joe Biden than his vocal performance of To Kill a Mockingbird. Despite this, Rudy seemed to think I was owed something besides money for the purchase (his credit card did not clear), so he sent me what he claimed to be damning conversations between Biden and his son Hunter. You may have seen these same conversations printed in the American press.

What I read reaffirmed my opinions on Mr. Biden as a kind, compassionate man. Just last week he insisted that drug users should not be incarcerated and should instead receive rehabilitation treatment. Your choice is between a man with empathy and a man with none. Choose the man who loves his son no matter what. Choose the man who understands human pain in a time overflowing with suffering. Choose the man who wants to help, even though he may not always have the right answer.

Choose him over the man with no empathy, the man who doesn’t understand making sacrifices, the man whose supporters include violent racists, the man whose supporters say “fuck your feelings,” the man whose supporters see kindness as weakness, the man who lets Rudy Giuliani try to help him.

Again, I apologize for stepping into more serious matters, and I will soon return to my imagined cooking adventures and of course the annual Holiday Catalog. But until then, my friends in America, choose love, choose empathy.

Warmest regards,
Rich
