Ah, very good ... having just recently listened to "Requiem ...", I must admit that it is very, very depressing - but more than that, creepy. The violins breeze through a theme with syncopated, illogical rhythm, and more than anything the final scenes starring Harry Goldfarb in the movie, coupled with the main theme of the film is enough to send anyone screaming ... "The Russia House", depressing though it is, is listenable, because of its' very jazzy, snazzy character. "Requiem for a Dream" is not a proper score to my ears. Or eyes for that matter.
