I can't fault the research, execution and entertainment value in CC’s review for Safe House but strangely enough I disagree with the rating. I love this score.

It sounds like Cliff Martinez with balls, an orchestra and actual themes. There’s development throughout which pays off in the final two queues and I found enough variation over it’s near 70 minute length and as CC’s acknowledged Djawadi at least took to chance to try something different. It’s mood music but enjoyable as all hell.
