Given Dodd's talents of bringing pop and rock artists into the symphonic fold, scores like Sahara beg for the man to venture into composition for himself (though to do so might reveal some of the true talent behind Arnold).

I guess that means you don't own "Renaissance" yet, because then you would know how spot on you were with that comment. Dodd is indeed the sound we all so love in David Arnold scores! You HAVE to get yourself the score for the 2006 movie Renaissance! Really. I hope Dodd will compose more himself and orchestrate less for Arnold!
