I rarely agree with reviewers, especially in the case of a score like this. I found a copy, brand new and VERY expensive less than a year ago, and to me, if I had known how great it was prior to getting it, I would have paid double.
Of course, this is all coming from an unreasonably loyal Horner fan...

The difficulty I have with this score is acknowledging how similar it is to his other work. Do you judge a score strictly on merit, as if it existed alone, or in context?
I find myself listening to this and A Beautiful Mind far more often than my various other scores. On that alone, it's worth 4 stars.

I usually agree with this site low ratings of Horner 90's efforts, but I think this time we have a 5-star score (or 4, at least).
One of those cases when the MAGIC of the music is ABOVE the Horner mannierisms and autocopying, really (APOLLO 13 could be another good example).
