but I really like this CD. I absolutely love the last track "The Transformation". Great orchestration. Very uplifting. I can put on my headphones and feel myself playing the trumpet score. Really enjoyable. Is it original? I don't know. Plagiarized from other scores, can't say. Leave that up to the experts. But, why it's so popular, it's fun to listen to. There are a couple of duds. Eddie Murphy is no singer. But all in all, I give it "2 thumbs up"

I agree that eddie murphey doesn't sing too well in the movie, but he's singing bad on purpose. If you've seen him on the ld episodes of saturday night live, he has a really good singing voice. I guess he's just stayin gin character!
