This is, so far, the best score of the year

This review was not only off, it was WAY off. If "Signs" is not nominated for best score this year, I will never watch the oscars again, for they will have proven their completely lack of intelligence (granted, they've been heading that way for a long time).

Such a simple theme (C, G, G#) but oh how masterfully used. Go play it on the piano and put a C chord under it. Beautiful. What a master of the minimalist craft Howard is!
