M. Night Shyamalan and James Newton Howard are both good sports Together, they are really great. Music for Sixth Sense, Unbreakable or Signs is fantastic. Three best scenes from these films are so special partly beacuse of Howard's music. Sixth Sense - when Bruce Willis finds out the truth, Unbreakable - when Bruce (again comes out from the pool and fights the murderer, Signs - final confrontation between Gibson, Phoenix and an alien. And thru whole mvoies, from begining to an end - music steers your emotions. Wish they both (Shyamalan and Howard) could always work together.

Hey Marek, I agree with You in 100%! I personally think that these 3 movies by Shyamalan are simply fantastic (haven't seen Village yet), especially most underrated Unbreakable. What I most value in Shyamalan movies is his sense of emotional mood, especially when he's developing his characters. And for me also the scene in which Bruce Willis comes out from the pool is probably his finest, not mentioning the scene of forseeing ("The Orange Man" track). Of course they would never be so emotionally powerful without brilliance of James Newton Howard's music! Although lots of people found the "Signs" finale cheesy, for me it's one of the most exciting I've seen on cinema screen, and Howard's music lets to experience these scenes even more exciting. I also adore the scene of Brazilian Video, the way Shyamalan made it, the screams of children (and Phoenix! ) and eerie atmosphere enhanced by JNH's creepy music is one of horror standouts of modern cinema!
