While listening to this score for the first time, less than a week ago, I had one of the greatest experiances I've had in a long time! I was so overjoyed that I had purchased this score, and It was wonderful. This score just doesn't quit! I love it! Just bursting with excitement from beginning to end it is incredible. As I listened I noticed around track 11 (Sirens, my favorite track) that my shirt was all wet, and then I realized I was drooling! Lisbeth Scott's voice is just mind bogglingly awesome, and so is the orchestra with its crashes. I would go so far as to say this score is better than "Hook" and maybe even "Cutthroat Island"! Its just awesome! Its been the only thing I've listened to for almsot a whole week now, I find myself humming it in the hallways at school, and people are like "Hey what are you humming? Its cool" and when I tell them they don't believe how a cartoon could have something so awesome! My favorite tracks are...

Track 1- Let the Games Begin
Track 3- The Sea Monster
Track 5- Syracuse
Track 8-Lighting Lanterns
Track 11- Sirens (favorite track)
Track 13- The Big Fish
Track 17- Rescue!
Track 21- Sinbad Returns and Eris Pays Up

Those are (in my opinion) the best tracks on the soundtrack, although all 22 of them are highly enjoyable and basically tracks 13 through track 18 are just plain heroic with no stops to calm down, and no slowing down! Its a wonder the trumpet players lived through it! They're playing so high! THIS IS JUST PURE AWESOMENESS! Kudos to Mr. Harry Gregson-Williams for writing the hands down best score for 2003!
