Can someone please tell me how this score beat out Zimmer, Powell, and Desplat? Especially Powell's score. What is going on here? How did Gustavo Santaolalla's thirteen minutes of atmospheric score beat both John Williams's phenomenal scores?
I honestly have no idea. Can someone give me some incite?
