Lack of thematic material?

• Now Playing: ST OSTs

Dennis McCarthy wrote the best theme music in any ST media - DS9 opening title, and he definitely knows how to write a good theme and has very distinct style. These are on a subtle side in this OST but guess what, this movie is ezoteric/philosophic in nature, so the music is ambient-like most of the time. So much for lack of thematic material. If you not fancy that, theres no help for you here. If you want your grandiose music, go for any other ST score really. This is definitely stand-out piece for what it is, well crafted and enjoyable.
