Probably the most important score of all time

It's not even the best score in the trilogy (V > VI > IV > I > II) but it is still the most important score in the history of film music. While earlier works such as Jaws may have put their collective foot in the door, Star Wars is what fully ushered in the re-emergence of orchestral scoring (which accounts for this website). No matter whether you love listening to this score on album (like I said, I'd rather listen to Episodes V & VI), you must appreciate what this score has meant to us, and also the level of excitement it brought back into film scoring.
