The only Superman "Song" that I know of is "Can You Read My Mind". If Ms. Kidder hadn't been tone-deaf (or had her voice alchoholed to death, I can't remember which) she would've sung instead of spoke in the flying sequence with Superman and Lois.
That's all I can tell you.

I have been searching for that same song my friend and I have finally found it. It is "Can You Read My Mind" and it is by Maureen McGovern. The words that Lois speaks is sung buy her beautifully. Like the other person said, it's a shame Kidder couldn't sing it, the song is lovely, would have been a top 10.

There is a song called Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down that goes:
If I go crazy man will you still call me Superman....
Hope that's what you're looking for.

The previous posts are correct in regards to Smallville and Maureen McGovern.
John Williams composed the original soundtrack to the Superman movie in 1978 starring Christopher Reeve. The love theme which played when Christopher Reeve took Margot Kidder is called "can you read my mind" and was on the album, though I believe it was just the instrumental version, and not the movie version where Margo Kidder spoke the words while they were flying over the planet. "Can you read my mind" was adapted as a single by Maureen McGovern and appeared on the adult contemporary charts hitting #1. It was part of a Curb records album titled simply, "Maureen McGovern".
Smallville on the WB did not have a theme song titled Superman but during one episode in the 1st season (I believe) was the Foo for Fighting song mentioned on a previous post.
