Now Playing: Great Bay Shrine (Legend of Zelda)

I haven't heard the score on album, but by watching the movie, I noticed several arrangements that were similar to Hans Zimmer and Marco Beltrami. Also, Elfman's title theme has the same first notes as the Riddick theme by Graeme Revell. Now, he doesn't rip-off entirely, but I think the style is no longer the Danny Elfman we loved.
And the original Fiedel theme isn't completely referenced, just the five note pattern and very quickly, as if Elfman was obligated to do so and doesn't want to give it any treatment.
