Eloi or Stone Language? |

Personally i think Eloi is a much more impressional piece. it leaves you with such an amazing feeling like your on top of the world (As clique as that may sound) i like the way it trails off at the end, it's just so beautiful. I'm curious, which of the two tracks do you like better and what is it about that track that you love the most? also, does anyone know any other pieces (not particularly a Klaus Badelt piece) that resembles these two songs? i love the tribal chant and i'm interested in finding some other works that evoke the same feel and emotion as these two. thanks!

I like stone language because that's the one I know the most of. I need to learn the other one more, then I'll have a really hard time choosing.

I prefer the Stone Language because it is a more upbeat variaton of the Eloi, and therefore, it is easier to listen to. Besides, it has more powerful parts than Eloi. I like Eloi as well, of course. I always listen to the tracks Alexander Hartdegen, Eloi and Stone Language before I go to bed, because these tracks are optimistic and relaxing, yet powerful ones with excellent string play, woodwind solos, brasses and piano accompaniment (piano in case of Eloi and Alexander only).

I personally like the Stone Language track better... it's got the best of Eloi plus more. If you like the tribal stuff, check out the Earthsea soundtrack by Jeff Rona. It's got excellent vocals plus all kinds of cultural and ethnic music mixed in there. I also enjoy the tribal-ish stuff throughout The Lion King, but everybody's heard that by now, right?
