In the review for the original score (the second review by Zachary). He is being stupid. He doesn't like James Horner so of course he's going to say bad things about it. And he says that the action cues are pointless and they have no theme, have you listened to "Hard to starboard"? I mean seriously he can't even realize why Horner used the bagpipes. THE TITANIC STOPED IN IRELAND AND IT WAS BUILT IN BELFAST IN IRELAND. Ireland isn't shown in the film (at least I don't think I havent seen in since it came out). I hated the movie but the score is phenominal. And as for the metal clangs sucking in "Willow" I think your mistaken they were excellent.
