The first reviewer has missed the boat on this wonderful score. Goldenthal has masterfully matched the overwrought drama in the original Shakespeare play (and the dizzying film by his wife), giving the film a marvelously fresh, inventive accompaniment.
It's hard to imagine a better score for this garish film than this. It stands up well by itself on the album...
