Listening to "Tron: Legacy", I hear heavy doses of Philip Glass (I'm thinking specifically of "Koyaanisqatsi" here) along with plenty of Tangerine Dream influences. And there are sections of string that sound like they were pulled nearly verbatim from Zimmer and Newton-Howard's "Batman" scores. On the whole, this score will probably be relegated to my "guilty pleasure" pile. . . I'll listen to it when no one else is home, and then deny it when asked!
